Responsible service

The Aeronautical Information Service, which forms part of the Islamic Republic of Iran Division of the Iran Airports & Air Navigation Company (IAC) and under the authority of Civil Aviation Organization (CAO) , ensures the flow of information necessary for the safety, regularity and efficiency of international and national air navigation within the area of its responsibility.  It consists of AIS Headquarters, International NOTAM Office (NOF) and AIS units established at  aerodromes .

The Aeronautical Information Service is responsible for the collection and dissemination of information  for the entire territory of Islamic Republic of Iran and for the airspace over the high seas encompassed by the  TEHRAN Flight Information Region.
